Who we are

Sally Lands – Founder, Director

As far back as her childhood, Sally has always been keenly aware of her love of nature - and her relationship with the environment. This interest was ignited when she won the BBC children’s TV programme, Blue Peter ‘Keep Britain Tidy’ competition in the 1970’s!

Her dedication continues to be recognized, most recently with the Daily Mail General Trust Community Champion Green Award for her support of environmental charities and her Community Champion Award locally in Essex for her efforts in cleaning the local beaches throughout the pandemic.

Some of the charities she is most passionate about include Thames21 - the London’s waterways charity, working with communities to improve rivers and canals for people and wildlife - as well as The Friends of Foots Cray Meadows, who protect the biodiversity of 240 acres of semi-rural parkland on the South London / Kent borders.

This passion for being outdoors and caring for the environment, coupled with an interest in addressing air pollution led to the creation of Coast Capture Air and now Souven-Air.

Coast Capture Air’s glass bottles of fresh coastal air were initially produced as a symbolic way to raise awareness and start conversations around the fragility and privilege we all share that is fresh air. Souven-Air follows in that tradition with a planet-friendly gift that, as a social enterprise, hopes to bring some aid to our beloved stages and those who make the magic possible.

Arkadiusz Wolinski, Director

Serial entrepreneur and long-time supporter of the Arts, Arkadiusz has a degree in the History of Art well as an MBA.  Music has been a particular passion of his that was the genesis for one of his first ventures – the design and manufacture of award-winning hi end audio gear.  Pursuing the beauty and inspiration that is live music – and faithfully capturing and reproducing every nuance and emotion that each artist tries to express and communicate to their listeners – and successfully capturing and conveying the electricity and magic of a performance – was one of the most satisfying challenges of his career.

Moving that inspiration for scientific precision from the pursuit of musical fidelity to the preservation of the arts and the environment have become his latest priorities.
